On the Bell & Howell Foton page I had written that because the Foton was a noisy camera, I thought it was not well suited to wildlife photography. Recently I received an email from Web visitor Steven Sawyer, asking if I would mind sending him an audio recording of the Foton in operation? Would I mind? No! What a great idea.

Recording the clicks and clacks of the Foton's high-speed motor drive was so much fun, I decided to record the sounds of a variety of cameras. You'll find these recordings in the new Sounds section of this site.  I plan to add to this section in the future.

It's been nearly a month without any additions to the site.  If this great weather continues, I'll probably take a few more weeks off from Web work.  Good time to hit the beach, flea markets, garage sales and even to take photographs with, not of, some of my old cameras.
