Brownie Safelight Lamp and Box
The Brownie Safelight, manufactured by Eastman Kodak Company, is a vintage electric darkroom safelight. A patent date of 1918 is stamped into the metal housing. The safelight has two light filters. One is rectangular and large, the other is smaller, circular and fitted on the end of the housing. Both are Wratten series 2 filters for orthochromatic film. The threaded lamp base fits a standard Edison light socket.
